Shaun Walbridge

Shaun is an Oceans Engineer at Esri, where he works on serving the needs of the ocean science research community. He received his master’s degree in ecology, and BS in physical geography both from University of California, Santa Barbara where he studied the shipping trade and its ecological effects. While working at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis (NCEAS), he examined the human impacts on the ocean globally, and worked with ecologists on best applying technology to meet their scientific needs. He has 10 years experience using Python for spatial problem solving.
