Adam Robbins-Pianka

I am a PhD student at the University of Colorado, Boulder, studying Computer Science. I was also an Interdisciplinary Quantitative Biology (IQ Biology) student, a new program at the university focused on promoting and facilitating research spanning multiple scientific disciplines. I received undergraduate degrees in Biology and Computer Science from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, and received a master's degree in bioinformatics from the same institution. My interests currently revolve around the research, development, and production of biofuels, and also how microbial ecology can play a role. I help develop several software projects, including scikit-bio and QIIME, and am working more and more with online technologies.
