I am a programmer living in Fort Collins, Colorado, working for Mapbox. In the past I have worked on ground-breaking Digital Classics projects, been a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) consultant, and an imagery analyst. I graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Physics in 1991 and received an M.S. in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University in 1995. I have been using Python for 14 years and am the author of several geospatial Python libraries, including Shapely, Fiona, and Rasterio.
