Richard Hattersley

Richard Hattersley is a lead author of several Open Source Python packages, including Iris and Cartopy. He began coding in his bedroom before the term bedroom-coder even existed, and has worked as a developer for twenty years, with the last eight focussed on geospatial and scientific computing. He currently works as an Expert Software Developer at the Met Office, in Exeter, UK.
