Interactive visualization in the browser

David I. Ketcheson

Audience level:

Description

Recently, several new projects (such as Bokeh, Vispy, Vincent, Plotly, JSAnimation and mpl3d) have sprung up around the idea of Python-based visualization within a web browser (e.g., for use in IPython notebooks). Some of them aim to enable more interactive data visualization and animation. This session aims to get developers and users together to discuss where such projects should go.
