Juan Huerta

Juan is a Senior Data Scientist at PlaceIQ where he focuses on creating large-scale algorithms for the analysis of location. Prior to PlaceIQ Juan worked at Citibank where he worked on applying Machine Learning methods in support to decision management. Before Citi, Juan was at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center where he worked on developing statistical approaches to speech recognition, natural language processing, machine translation, and discourse analysis. Juan has a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh PA, and a M. Sc. from Boston University.
